The Harmony Bed features 8lb HD Memory Foam. The HD foam conforms to your body with smooth buttery comfort that melts away pressure with the advanced properties of the HD foam. The conforming properties of our 8lb HD foam are superior to any other type of memory foam.
The 8lb HD Memory Foam has a thick layer of 5.3lb Memory Foam beneath. This combination works harmoniously to help you relax with superior pressure relief and balanced alignment. Beds that are too soft may relieve some types of discomfort, but they often create pain in other areas because they lack proper support.

All I can say is, WOW!
I did a lot of research on the internet, and visited 3 stores and 2 factories before buying my "Harmony" mattress from Atlantic. I tested the Sleep Number bed in their store, and I also went to an independent mattress dealer and tested the Raphsody. It was love at first sight.
When I went shopping for my bed, it was because I had to. I suffered a lower back injury in 1999 while serving in the US Army overseas, and have suffered chronic lower back and neck pain, which at times would wake me up in the night and I would not be able to go back to sleep. Last Octoboer 2008, the pain reached my threshold and I knew something had to change. I went to a new chiropractor and he suggested a memory foam bed. I chose three different brand names to include Atlantic, and I had someone answer my phone call immediately when I called to ask questions.
Keep in mind I am not an easy person to please, I have two engineering degrees, a bachelors of engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Engineering from the University of Missouri. My wife was skeptical at first, she had loved our box spring matress that we have had for 10 years. My sales rep said to give it 30 days, and if we didn't like it, we could have it sent back, no problem. Well, it took about 7-14 days to adjust to the memory foam matress (we purchased only the foam matress and reused our box springs) and now you could not separate my wife from our foam bed from Atlantic.
Delivery to our house in Savannah, GA was a non-issue, they brought the matress in the house, unwrapped it, and took away the trash! What more could you ask for???

Multi-Layered Design
The construction of a quality memory foam mattress should be broken down into layers. The purpose of layering is to increase the lifespan of a bed.
There is less wear and tear on a bed with more layers because weight gets distributed evenly throughout the layers. The most common complaint for beds made with fewer layers of foam is that, over time, they provide less support.
When there is less support, a hammock effect is created. The heaviest areas of a person's body sink deeper and the beds need to be replaced.
Two-Stage AirChannel System™
Our proprietary Two-Stage AirChannel System™ is a game changer. This is the most advanced cooling system of any memory foam mattress on the market today.
Heat and moisture accumulate near a person’s body. The problem with other cooling systems is that they're built into the base layers. They are typically about four or five inches beneath the sleep surface.
Stage One of our Two-Stage AirChannel System™ features air channels in the top of the memory foam, which allows air to circulate closer to your body.
Stage Two incorporates a thin layer of our proprietary poly-flow fiber between our base foam and the memory foam. This doesn't change the feeling of our mattress, but it adds space for air to circulate around the memory foam.

Please allow up to ten business days to receive your delivery. The average delivery time is between four and ten business days. Faster delivery options are available to some areas. Our freight company will call you in advance to schedule your delivery appointment.
We also have options for White Glove In-Home Delivery with Set Up. This option usually adds up to seven business days for delivery.
Not Rolled Or Vacuum Compressed
Many people unsuspectingly order compressed foam mattresses. Some companies vacuum compress and tightly roll up their beds to squeeze them into tiny boxes. These mattresses remain compressed for extended periods of time, which puts stress on the materials.
In the short term, some of these mattresses don't fully decompress. They may remain curled up at the ends or have irregularities in the foam that become noticeable beneath a person's bodyweight. Long term problems are more likely because of the additional stress that was put on the beds when they were compressed.
Tempur-Pedic® doesn't vacuum compress their mattresses and neither do we.
