Our Traditional Mattress is a two-sided innerspring mattress that is built to last longer than one-sided innerspring mattresses.
Most spring units used on the inside of mattresses are only 6 inches thick. Everything else is upholstery and quilting that is added on top of the springs. Body impressions are the result of the upholstery flattening. Because one-sided innerspring mattresses cannot be flipped, they often wear out within a few years.
Because our Traditional Mattress is two sided, the upholstery is evenly divided between the top and bottom of the mattress. When you flip our mattress, the upholstery on the bottom of the mattress can relax and recover, which makes the mattress feel new again.
