Our Twilight Plus Cool-To-Touch Gel Cylinder Mattress is comparable to The TEMPUR-Cloud® Supreme Breeze. Our Twilight Mattress is where soft comfort merges with essential support. Our Twilight Plus Mattress features all of the advantages of our regular Twilight, and it adds our proprietary Cool-To-Touch Gel Columns.
The Twilight is designed to be more plush than any of our other mattresses. The top layers of plush memory foam are supported by two more layers of 5.3lb Memory Foam beneath to provide necessary support. The feeling of the Twilight is best described as soft and supportive.
Our Gel Cylinders offer more consistency than Gel Mix-Ins. Our Cool-To-Touch Gel Cylinders are spread evenly across the entire sleep surface. This is a more expensive method for adding gel, but our goal is to make mattresses that are more comfortable and last longer.
Cool-To-Touch Gel Columns
Most Companies Are Mixing Gel Particles Into Their Mattresses:
Just because a company uses gel in their mattresses doesn’t mean that the gel is going to be used effectively. When gel comes into direct contact with skin it can have a cooling effect, but the problem is that the majority of the gel in most company’s mattresses gets spread throughout the memory foam layer.
Most companies are mixing gel particles directly into their memory foam. They mix a small amount of gel and this gets distributed unevenly into a memory foam core that is a few inches thick. This can create concentrations of gel in some areas and very little gel in other areas. The result is inconsistencies in the feeling of the mattress. The long-term durability of the mattress can also be compromised because the gel particles may fall out and leave small holes behind in the memory foam.

Thank you so much for the beautiful mattress and foundation. I was at first very hesitant on spending over a $ 1,000 on something sight unseen with a company that I found on the internet, but you guys are legit. It took me a few days for the mattress to soften up but now I Love it. I am still working through my back problems but if anything I believe the mattress is helping. Not Rolled Or Vacuum Compressed
Many people unsuspectingly order compressed foam mattresses. Some companies vacuum compress and tightly roll up their beds to squeeze them into tiny boxes. These mattresses remain compressed for extended periods of time, which puts stress on the materials.
In the short term, some of these mattresses don't fully decompress. They may remain curled up at the ends or have irregularities in the foam that become noticeable beneath a person's bodyweight. Long term problems are more likely because of the additional stress that was put on the beds when they were compressed.
Tempur-Pedic® doesn't vacuum compress their mattresses and neither do we.
Multi-Layered Design
The construction of a quality memory foam mattress should be broken down into layers. The purpose of layering is to increase the lifespan of a bed.
There is less wear and tear on a bed with more layers because weight gets distributed evenly throughout the layers. The most common complaint for beds made with fewer layers of foam is that, over time, they provide less support.
When there is less support, a hammock effect is created. The heaviest areas of a person's body sink deeper and the beds need to be replaced.
