Traditional Mattress Description
Our Traditional Mattress is a two-sided innerspring mattress that is built to last longer than one-sided innerspring mattresses.
Most spring units used on the inside of mattresses are only 6 inches thick. Everything else is upholstery and quilting that is added on top of the springs. Body impressions are the result of the upholstery flattening. Because one-sided innerspring mattresses cannot be flipped, they often wear out within a few years.
Because our Traditional Mattress is two sided, the upholstery is evenly divided between the top and bottom of the mattress. When you flip our mattress, the upholstery on the bottom of the mattress can relax and recover, which makes the mattress feel new again.
Best of all, because it’s two sided, our Traditional mattress will last twice as long.
2-Sided Design
Our two-sided innerspring mattresses remain more comfortable because the materials on the bottom side of the mattress get to relax and restore when it’s flipped. When it comes back to the top surface it is nearly as comfortable as when you first got it.
2 Sides Are Better Than A Pillowtop
People often assume that pillowtop mattresses are better. Pillowtop innerspring mattresses have a higher risk for body impressions.
Pillowtop mattresses, on average, weigh significantly less than two-sided mattresses, because they’re padded with upholstery to make them thicker.

Alternating Coil System
Our coils alternate clockwise and counter-clockwise in their rotation to provide a more stable sleep surface. The springs work independently to absorb movement and to provide stability while you sleep. This helps to reduce the transfer of motion between sleepers.
